My Messy Boys!!

It is amazing how quickly a giant mess can be made. After setting Micah and Ian up to play I sat down to feed Avery. In the short time it took to feed her I came out and discovered these messes! Of course they wanted to clean the mud themselves:) I am learning to just stop and laugh. Then clean of course.

The little girl scared us!

When Avery was 4 weeks old I took her to the dr because her left breast was swollen and had turned red. They told me it was infant mastitis and sent me straight to the er. After 8 hrs there we were finally admitted to the hospital where she stayed for three days. We were blessed to have friends that took the boys every day. Imagine their household with 8 small children (all 5 and under) running around! Thank you so much Josh and Gloria!!! With their generosity and Roy's sacrifice at night I was able to stay with Avery in the hospital. We really did have good girl time:) Other than issues with getting her iv in it was a good stay. After 2 weeks of antibiotics she was back to normal and last week at her baby well check the dr was pleased the infection had not returned.

Update

Our family has grown since this blog was created. The boys are getting bigger and after 9 months of praying for a girl baby Micah got his sister! Avery is 2 months old and a joy to our hearts!
